Manufactured in the U.S.A., the Royal High-Speed Precision Live Center boasts speeds up to 12,000 rpm. Unlike traditional options, it utilizes lightweight spindle oil for reduced turning resistance and lower operating temperatures. With its preloaded bearing assembly and hardened components, it offers outstanding rigidity and accuracy. The low-profile head and extended point also provide superior tool clearance. It features the exclusive Roto-Shield™ coolant slinger and upgraded seal for extended bearing protection and longevity. Available in steel and carbide-tipped point models.

5. Three precision angular-contact bearings are secured to the point with a locknut to form a rigid, preloaded assembly. This design is similar to a machine tool spindle cartridge and provides outstanding accuracy and rigidity.
6. The point extends into the body where it is supported by a needle roller bearing, which further increases rigidity, reduces point deflection, and dampens vibration.
7. Lubricated with lightweight spindle oil instead of grease for reduced turning resistance and lower operating temperatures. A true high-speed live center capable of running at 12,000 rpm all day long!
